Dr. Tarique Zaman completed his medical degree at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He then worked as a Research Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic while also earning a Master of Public Health degree from Case Western Reserve University. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center, an affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Zaman currently works as a Hospitalist for Sound Physicians, serving patients at Inova Alexandria Hospital. He is particularly interested in chronic disease prevention and treatment, and encourages his patients to take control of their health with a whole food plant-based diet and an active lifestyle. His hobbies include reading, biking and travel. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two daughters.
